Water Sports
THE POUDRE RIVER | This is our lifeblood here in Fort Collins & we LOVE spending time on the river. The Poudre offers amazing fly fishing & great whitewater rafting, kayaking, tubing, and paddleboarding as well.
HORSETOOTH | Awesome in the summer and super close to town. It’s a 10 minute drive from the Fernweh, and there are lots of places you can park & hike down to the water to spend your day paddleboarding, swimming, or lying in a tube drinking a Fat Tire.
Mountain Whitewater Descents offers rentals for kayaks, rafts, paddleboards, etc. They have lots of guided trips to choose from too.
Rentals also available at Jax in Fort Collins. Hostel staff will point you in the right direction.
