Drip, Steep, Sip
This cold weather has me craving all of my cozy spots in Fort Collins! I am a dedicated coffee and tea drinker. I appreciate a quality, warm cup of black coffee in the morning just as much as I enjoy a hot cup of tea in the middle of the day- the idea of having my fingers wrapped around a hot mug that I love! Fort Collins, along with all of the great things it has to offer, has some of my favorite coffee shops and tea houses.
Everyday Joe’s Coffee House
This volunteer-powered coffee shop always has quality beans, unique creative seasonal drinks, and great tunes. Not to mention the incredible space they provide for friendly conversations, small meetings, and larger groups, Everyday Joe’s Coffee House also has events that vary month to month. Among Fort Collins’ exceptional coffee scene, EDJ’s definitely stands out.
Bean Cycle Roasters
The Bean Cycle is a family-owned coffee spot that roasts their own coffee beans three times a week, has quirky fresh juices, wheatgrass shots, decent selection of teas, ever-changing local artwork on the walls, and open mic night once a month. The Bean Cycle Roasters shares a space with The Wolverine Farm Publishing Company, providing coffee lovers with a one stop shop for books and stationery alike. Comfy couches with a mixture of productive spaces, slow drip coffee, and a positive aura, the Bean Cycle is a unique space fit for all of your caffeine cravings.
Wolverine Farm Letterpress & Publick House
The WF Letterpress constantly has a variety of events from music shows, to game nights, to pie eating contests. I love this place because of the emphasis they place on building community, and bringing people together. In addition to serving a great cup of coffee, they also serve beer (another one of my favorite beverages, but I’ll save that for another blog post!) and kombucha. Visit their website for hours and a list of events.
Happy Lucky’s Teahouse
Happy Lucky’s has an entire wall full of organized teas, green, black, herbal, white, you name it! Their employees are incredibly knowledgeable about tea and are able to make on-point suggestions for when you’re feeling overwhelmed with decisions. My favorite place to sit and drink tea is in the back room, complete with a “wishing wall”. You’ll have to visit and see the magic for yourself!
Hope y'all are staying warm & enjoying your weekend!
